Food

In a brief follow-up to my previous experiments with the mid-day meal, I describe tomorrow's noon-fooding. I will be using the Yorkshire meal-naming convention this time, since hulver.com sails under the flag of Yorkshire.

Poll: Don't eat anything I wouldn't eat, or do.

Here is a list of things that are in the dinner box for tomorrow:
  • Tomato
  • Red pepper
  • Mushroom of the chestnut variety
  • Roasted beetroot
  • Roasted yam
  • Pickled ginger
  • Pickled silverskin onion
  • Oak smoked cheddar
  • Rasins
  • Apple (russett)
  • Fresh kale
  • Neep, raw and sliced thin
This is quite simply the best salad I have ever made in my life. I probably won't be able to sleep for anticipation of tomorrow's feast.

Sounds damn good by nebbish (2.00 / 0) #1 Wed Feb 01, 2006 at 05:52:15 AM EST
But everytime I read "silverskin" I see "foreskin".

It's political correctness gone mad!

Please don't change silverskin to foreskin in the body of the diary. I don't know what a foreskin onion is, but it sounds like a nickname for some hideous medical condition.
